Jersey Movie is the remake of same titled Telugu Movie. The movie is story of an Indian Ranaji player Named Arjun Talwar played by Shahid Kapoor. This movie is in Sports Drama category and has high hopes for Shahid Kapoor. His last Movie Kabir singh was released 3 years ago and since then fans of Shahid were waiting for another masterpiece. It was released yesterday in Cinemas around the country and worldwide.
Jersey movie is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri who also directed the Telugu version of this movie. It is also a scene to scene copy of Original 2019 Jersey movie except for a twist in the end which you will have to watch in cinemas. The movie has Mrunal Thakur as Arjun Talwar’s wife who also supports the family of 3 financially. Arjun is a struggling cricketer who always dreamt of Playing for National Cricket team. His son’s role is played by Ronit Kamara who was also in the Telugu version. He is just as good as he was in the Telugu version.
Late Pankaj Kapoor also played the role of his coach and a father figure in the movie. Shahid as Arjun Talwar is praised by a lot of actors in bollywood including Varun Dhawan and many likes of him. His acting is exceptional in the movie and being considered as one of his best work so far.

There were speculation of a generous 10 crore first collection for the movie. Failing the expectation movie collected 7.1 crore on its first day. The movie had a budget of 60 crore which at the start but due to continuous postpone of the movie and increase in promotion cost of 10 crore it has reached to 100 crore. It was released in 2100 screens in India and 600 overseas screens. The total collection in India was 4.70 crore and in overseas it collected 1.2 crore.

Jersey Movie Weekend Collection Expectations
The movie is having a mix response from fans and we are hoping that it will attract more viewers into cinemas on the weekend. The first day collection was not so impressive seeing that KGF is collecting all the bucks. Also next week Heropanthi 2 starring Tiger Shroff will hit the cinemas next week. Ajay Devgan’s Runway 34 is also much waited and will come to cinemas on upcoming Friday.
