Kieron Pollard’s Career

In their 15-year-long International Cricket Career, he had been part of the 2012 T20 World Cup-winning squad. The all-rounder is known for his smashing Innings. Pollard is also very popular for his league career in IPL playing for Mumbai. He has been part of the franchise for so long and he assumes to continue. He is a feared T20 Cricketer around the world and there are good reasons for that. On the other hand, he has not done much good for his International Cricket Career Playing for West Indies.

Pollard, playing for West Indies has scored 2706 in 123 ODI matches. He has an average of 26 batting and in bowling, he has taken 55 wickets. He also scored 1569 runs in 101 T20 Matches with an average of 15 and took 44 wickets. He never played test cricket for West Indies Team. These achievements look small coming from the most feared T20 cricketer who played for 15 years. I guess the reason behind this could be his fancy to play in middle orders which only works in T20 cricket.

Why Kieron Pollard Announced Retirement?

I guess this could also be the reason he is stepping down early since he knows his numbers for international cricket look not so impressive. He is also hinted that it is time for youngsters to take his place instead.

Us fans of his six smashing innings will still be able to see him playing in IPL and other leagues of Cricket around the world. We wish him a fortune for his future endeavors and hope he will entertain us with his exceptional batting and bowling.
