किसान खाद्य सुरक्षा के साथ साथ सामाजिक सुरक्षा भी प्रदान कर पायेगें। आपको बता दें कि KCC से जो लोन लिया जाता है, उस पर ब्याज दर 9% लगता है, लेकिन कुछ परिस्थिति में यह ब्याज 4% भी आ जाता है, वो कैसे आइये समझते है। आपको यह ध्यान रखना है कि जिस दिनांक पर आपने लोन लिया है, उस दिनांक से पहले यदि आप लोन लौटा देते है, तो आपको 3 लाख पर 3% की छुट दी जाती है।
साथ ही अगर आप साल पूरा होने से पहले ही लोन लौटा देते है, तो आपको 3% की अतिरिक्त प्रोत्साहन राशि भी मिलेगी। इसके अलावा केंद्र सरकार द्वारा 2% की सब्सिडी भी दी जाती है। इस तरह आप समय से 3 लाख रूपये का KCC ऋण जमा कराने पर केवल 4% ब्याज ही देना होता है।
