McCain styled her blonde hair into a bun in the selfie and pursed her lips as she donned a black outfit. Her makeup was casual and appropriate for the occasion. Meanwhile, her bearded husband, who embraced her from behind, just smiled for the camera.

The social media post had a fitting caption that read “Mum and Dad” and went up with many congratulations from supporters. One fan wrote, “I’m so happy for you two and your beautiful girls too.” Another person accompanied their message with nine heart emojis, writing: “Congratulations one and all on your latest arrival! The mother of two revealed she was advised to take Ozempic to lose the extra baby weight. The drug, originally prescribed for people with diabetes, has since become a go-to for weight-loss influencers.

She began by mentioning how people asked her to take Ozempic “four weeks” after welcoming her baby. The public figure further explained, “a craze sweeping the nation” in the form of a “new ‘miracle’ drug” that “just might melt away the pounds” for “a cool $1,000 a pop.” The hit caught the attention of some celebrities who allegedly interacted with the drug, including businessman Elon Musk, reality star Kyle Richards and comedian Chelsea Handler.

The author claimed she was shocked that “casual friends” and “industry acquaintances” asked her about using it because she wasn’t one of the “people who legitimately struggle with obesity and need Ozempic.”

However, the GLAAD Media Award nominee boldly said, “Well, let me make one thing very clear. I’m not taking it. I refuse. There’s a clear moral issue here. It’s hard to take a drug because swimsuit season is around the corner, while others need it to survive. And how can this be healthy?”

At one point in the piece, the former “The View” star wrote about the negative effects the drug would have on her daughters’ lives and their view of beauty. “This is not the world I want for them, and not the world I want for myself,” McCain wrote before concluding,

“As for Ozempic, I’d rather have a few extra pounds than put myself off with medication. There’s nothing worth having that’s easy to come by. And that goes for my health and my girls’ health.”

She shared a carousel of photographs on Instagram. One photo showed her older daughter Liberty, whose blonde hair was styled in a two-ponytail, watching her little sister rest.

The family of four was featured in the next photo with Domenech carrying his girls in his arms; the two-year-old sat on his lap as he securely wrapped his other arm.

On the other hand, McCain wore purple pajamas as she stared down at her lovely family. The remaining photos showed a solo shot of the new baby and a loving moment McCain’s mother shared with her grandson.
