Countless celebrities were in attendance for Super Bowl LVII, including Adele, Lainey Wilson, Paul Rudd, Bradley Cooper, LeBron James and more. But one superstar watched the match from home, and we can only assume she’s happy with how it turned out.

Miranda Lambert is an East Texas native, but the “Somethin’ Bad” singer is a die-hard Chiefs fan. Miranda grew up in Lindale, not far from the town of Whitehouse, where Chiefs quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes is from. And she’s all about supporting her fellow Texas people. Although she watched the game from home, Miranda stepped out wearing a Mahomes #15 jersey, red bandana, oversized hoop earrings and a bright red lip.

Miranda shared a selfie on Instagram with the caption, “Let’s go @chiefs 👏🎉🎈🏈! #chiefskingdom #15 #EastTexas #Mahomie #superbowl.”

She was hit with some supportive comments like “So happy to see you in Chiefs gear! Kansas City ❤️ is you!” and “Go Chiefs! That shirt looks great on you!!”

But tons of fans protested her choice of outfit (and team): “Personally, I think green would be a better color on you! #FLYEAGLESFLY 🦅🦅,” “I like your music but not your taste in Super Bowl teams!! Go 🦅 🦅🦅🦅🦅” and “Like a bird fan this hurts😢”

Miranda also posted a cozy picture after the match. Her television screen shows Mahomes and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce celebrating after the game. Miranda included the message, “We did it!”

Just a few weeks ago, she showed off a different game day outfit, with a Chiefs hoodie, braids and a pom-pom hat. In that post, she said she’s once again rooting for her “East Texan” Patrick Mahomes.

Miranda has a lot to celebrate after the Chiefs win. And to her fans who support the Eagles, better luck next year!
