Assam Rifles Recruitment vacancies are out. Office of Director General Assam Rifles has released a notice regarding various posts under B and C grades. The exam is supposed to be held on September 1st 2022. Here are all the details regarding the notification of Assam Rifles Recruitment.
Office of The Director-General of Assam Rifles Shilong is inviting candidates to apply for various vacancies of B and C grades. There is a total of 1484 posts which include 104 sports quota posts. The recruitment will be scheduled for various trades including Rifleman under sports quota, clerks, Operators of radio & line, Nursing and Lab assistants, Washer men, and many others.
Scope of Examination
The recruitment process will start on April 30 for various posts. The exam will have 100 questions for a written test which will include General Awareness, English Language, Reasoning Ability, and Quantitative aptitude. Each subject will have 25 questions. All 10/12 pass candidates between the age group 18-25 will be eligible for all the posts except Religious Teacher which requires Graduate Degree. There is also scope for age relaxation for SC/ST candidates up to 5 years and 3 years for OBC Candidates. General/OBC category serving in Assam Rifles can also have an age relaxation of up to 40 years and SC/ST Serving Assam Rifles candidates can have relaxation up to 45 years. There is also age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen for SC/ST, OBC, and UR up to 8 years, 6 years, and 3 years respectively.
Furthermore, there will be Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Trade Test, and Medical Examination for qualifying candidates. 10% of the total posts are reserved for Ex-servicemen Quota.
